Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM) has announced the appointment of Andrew Sill as the Chair of its University’s Board of Directors, effective from the 1st of May 2024.
Sill held various leadership roles at prominent global firms such as RBS Malaysia and Commercial Banking at HSBC in Malaysia.
Bringing decades of experience
Sill, with over thirty years of experience in international banking across various markets, assumes his new role with a rich background in strategic leadership and revenue growth.
His expertise spans Malaysia, Singapore, India, Thailand, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom.
Professor Richard A. Williams, Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Heriot-Watt University, expressed his welcome, highlighting the invaluable contribution Sill’s experience will offer to the University’s global vision.
