Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) has achieved a historic milestone, becoming the first and only university in Malaysia to receive accreditation from the esteemed Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in the United Kingdom.

This recognition signifies APU’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional education and maintaining rigorous quality standards.

The QAA accreditation is a testament to APU’s dedication to excellence.

This accreditation process involves a comprehensive review based on stringent criteria outlined in the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).

Evaluations encompass ten key areas, including program design, teaching methods, student support services, research activities, facilities, resources, and university governance.

Securing this accreditation required nearly a year of meticulous preparation and documentation, culminating in a thorough on-site audit at APU in March 2024.

“In making their conclusions, the review team confirmed that the University meets all 10 of the internal quality assurance standards in the ESG,” stated QAA.

Professor Dr Ho Chin Kuan, Vice-Chancellor of APU, expressed immense pride in this achievement.
