The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is Malaysia’s first venue to earn ‘Healthy Venue’ Bronze Level certification, enhancing delegate wellness.

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) has made history as the first venue in Malaysia to receive the prestigious ‘Healthy Venue’ certification from the Healthy Venues organisation. The Centre proudly announced its attainment of the Healthy Venue’s Bronze Level accreditation, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to enhance delegate experiences through a health-focused event environment.

This accolade, which recognises venues that prioritize wellness through healthier eating, movement, and workplace health, reinforces the Centre’s dedication to creating a conducive environment that boosts meeting productivity and leaves a lasting positive impression on delegates.

These included aligning catering practices with national dietary guidelines, ensuring at least 25% of menu items are healthy options, offering low or no-sugar drinks, providing free drinking water on-site, promoting active meetings, and implementing policies to encourage physical activity and healthy eating within the workplace.
