The iconic Tiger Sin Chew Chinese Education Charity Concert (Tiger Sin Chew CECC) is back for its 30th year, marking a significant milestone in supporting Chinese education across Malaysia.
Organised by Heineken Malaysia Berhad and Sin Chew Daily, the event has raised over RM407 million since its inception in 1994, benefiting over 540 schools nationwide.
Tiger Sin Chew CECC : A Legacy of uplifting education
The Deputy Education Minister, Wong Kah Woh, lauded the initiative’s long-standing impact.
“For three decades,” he stated, “Tiger Sin Chew CECC has not only improved access to quality education but also fostered a sense of community and shared purpose.”
These funds have directly contributed to infrastructure upgrades, technology implementation, and an overall enhanced learning environment for countless students.
This year’s Tiger Sin Chew CECC promises exciting new developments. The inclusion of trade partners like local coffee shops and food courts strengthens the community spirit.
These establishments will host “Fundraiser Nights” alongside the ten charity concerts scheduled between July and October.
A commitment to community

The 2024 edition aims to raise RM15 million, supporting eleven deserving institutions.
These schools require funds for various projects, including building new facilities, upgrading existing infrastructure, and enhancing technology integration.
