GoProABC kicks off summer video challenge

GoPro enthusiasts, rejoice! GoPro is launching its first-ever GoPro Asia Best Challenge (GoProABC), inviting storytellers and content creators across Asia to showcase their summer adventures.

Participating in GoProABC is effortless. Simply capture your summer adventures with your GoPro, download the GoPro Quik app for iOS or Android, and follow the straightforward submission instructions within the app.

With travel season in full swing, GoPro calls upon everyone to grab their camera and start filming.

Whether it’s snorkelling in turquoise waters, capturing breathtaking star trails on a camping trip, or documenting precious moments with loved ones, all captivating footage shot with a GoPro is welcome.

GoProABC is searching for videos that exemplify creativity, exceptional video quality, and the unique perspective that only a GoPro can capture.

Do your entries make viewers feel the thrill of an adventure or the joy of a celebration? These are the qualities that will make your submission stand out.

A chance to shine on the global stage with GoProABC

The winners will not only have the opportunity to share an equal portion of a massive USD $200,000 prize pool, but their winning videos will also be featured in a GoProABC highlight reel showcased on a global platform.

“We’re thrilled to launch GoProABC and celebrate the incredible diversity of Asia’s landscapes, cultures, and untold stories,” says Rick Loughery, GoPro’s Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications.

“The region boasts a wealth of amazing content creators, and we’re eager to see the unique perspectives they bring to life.” Loughery emphasises.

“This challenge encourages everyone to explore their world with a GoPro and share their experiences through their lens. After all, capturing these moments is what GoPro is all about!”

The submission process is simple and free. Aspiring winners can submit their best unedited, raw video clips between now and July 31st, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PST via GoPro.com/ABC.

Winners will be announced in August 2024 and notified via email from the GoPro Awards portal.

Remember, each winner will receive a single share of the prize money regardless of the number of submitted clips used in the final highlight reel.
