This initiative, unveiled at IWK Eco Park on 13 August 2024, highlights Foodpanda’s commitment to supporting local communities by providing flexible, immediate income options.

The “Jejak Panda” campaign was inaugurated by Fahmi Fadzil, Member of Parliament for Lembah Pantai and Minister of Communications, alongside Shubham Saran, Director of Operations at Foodpanda Malaysia.

The event aimed to empower Pantai Dalam residents by offering an exclusive opportunity to join Foodpanda as delivery partners.

Over 150 locals attended, where they could sign up, receive instant ID verification, and undergo on-the-spot training.

Additionally, new delivery partners received a complimentary rider kit worth up to RM150, allowing them to start work immediately—eliminating the usual 2-3 day waiting period.

“We recognise the important role we play in supporting our communities and offering accessible earning opportunities,” said Shubham Saran.

“With the support of our partners, we can reach more people and make a greater impact across Malaysia.”
