Resorts World Genting unveils innovative mooncake flavours for Mid-Autumn Festival 2024, blending tradition with modern twists.

Resorts World Genting (RWG) is celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024 by introducing a creative spin on the beloved mooncake. The resort’s dim sum and Chinese pastry chef, Gan Chee Keong, has crafted a selection of new flavours that blend tradition with innovation, offering a delightful experience for mooncake enthusiasts from 1st July to 17th September 2024.

Among the intriguing new offerings are the Dragon Fruit with Single Yolk and White Lotus with Durian Jingsa, both priced at RM23nett. For those seeking a richer, earthier taste, the limited-edition Ng Yan Assorted Nuts with Truffle Oil (RM28nett) promises a satisfying crunch with a hint of citrus. Additionally, the all-new Pandan Snow Skin mooncake (RM22nett), featuring a mochi-like texture, will be available from 18th August 2024, while stocks last.

Traditional flavours meet contemporary palates

In addition to the new flavours, RWG continues to offer its signature heritage-inspired baked mooncakes that have long been favourites among visitors. These include the popular Ng Yan Assorted Nuts (RM28nett), Lotus Paste with Double Yolk (RM25nett), and Golden Jade with Single Yolk (RM23nett). Other options include Pu Er Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Low Sugar White Lotus Paste, Green Tea Lotus Paste, and Red Bean, with prices ranging from RM19nett to RM25nett.

Customers can also indulge in the God of Wealth Cookies (RM8nett for a pack of two pieces) throughout the promotion period. These meticulously crafted treats will be available daily at Flavours of Genting kiosks, located at the Bakery and Coffee Terrace in Genting Grand, the First World Hotel Lobby, and the Malaysian Food Street Entrance at SkyAvenue.

For those looking to share the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival, RWG is offering a selection of gift box sets that combine signature mooncakes with other Flavours of Genting products. Prices for these sets range from RM108 to RM118 and include combinations of mooncakes like the White Lotus with Durian Jingsa, Lotus Paste Double Yolk, and Green Tea Lotus Paste, along with delicacies such as Sambal with Dried Shrimps and Pineapple Tarts.

To sweeten the deal, RWG is providing discounts for early orders and bulk purchases. From 1st July to 17th August 2024, customers can enjoy a 30% discount on online orders via i-Holiday, with collection available before 10th September 2024. Additionally, from 1st August to 17th September 2024, customers can receive a 15% discount on purchases of 20 to 99 boxes and a 30% discount on 100 boxes or more. Discounts apply only to purchases made via cash, debit, or credit card and exclude bundle sets and God of Wealth cookies.
