Irfan’s debut in Kollywood was in the 2008 blockbuster “Kuruvi,” where he played the role of Trisha’s brother. Fast forward to 2024, and Irfan has once again found himself sharing the screen with Vijay in “GOAT.” The movie, set to be released on 5th September 2024, has generated immense buzz, particularly after the release of its trailer on 17th August.

The nearly three-minute-long trailer has been a fan-favorite, packed with references to Vijay’s previous hits like “Ghilli” and Venkat Prabhu’s “Mankatha.” For Irfan, being featured in the trailer alongside his idol is a dream come true. “Been keeping this inside for super long because I was afraid to celebrate this without knowing if I was actually in the movie or not, but never in my wildest dreams I thought I would be in the trailer of my THALAPATHY’S movie and in the same freaking frame,” Irfan tweeted on X, expressing his excitement and disbelief.
