ZafigoX 2024: Rejuvenation set to empower women travelers

ZafigoX 2024: Rejuvenation returns on October 12-13 with inspiring talks, workshops, and performances, empowering women travelers worldwide.

After a five-year hiatus, ZafigoX is making a grand return this October 12-13, 2024, at Menara KEN TTDI. Titled ZafigoX 2024: Rejuvenation, the event, organised by women and travel platform Zafigo.com, promises to reignite the passion for exploration among women with two days of engaging talks, insightful workshops, and inspiring performances. The event is curated to empower women through the lens of travel, bringing together influential figures from around the globe to share their knowledge and experiences.

ZafigoX 2024 will feature a stellar line-up of international and local female trailblazers. Among the international speakers is Asma Khan, a prominent UK entrepreneur and advocate for social change in the food industry, alongside Dr. Mona Minkara, known as the ‘Blind Traveler,’ who advocates for accessible travel for the blind. Palestinian journalist Plestia Alaqad and etiquette expert Sara Jane Ho, host of Netflix’s Mind Your Manners, will also share their unique perspectives.

Locally, leading voices like Suri Kempe, a gender equality advocate, and contemporary artist Red Hong Yi will take the stage. Datuk Nicol Ann David, Malaysia’s squash legend, will participate in a conversation with Zafigo.com founder, Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, about her work empowering underprivileged youth through the Nicol David Organisation. The event will also feature performances by local talents like poet Sheena Baharudin and Sabah-based singer Velvet Aduk.
