MDEC’s Malaysia Digital Catalyst Grant (MDCG) is a powerful driver of innovation in Malaysia’s digital sector, offering up to RM1 million or 50% of project costs.

This grant aims to encourage scalable, high-impact digital projects within the Malaysia Digital (MD) Promoted Sectors.

Since its introduction in 2021, the MDCG has funded 59 companies, contributing to innovations like cloud-based management systems and tools for SMEs.

These projects have significantly boosted the digital transformation of local businesses.

Similarly, the Malaysia Digital Export Grant (MDXG) offers up to RM1 million to support Malaysian companies aiming to expand globally.

The MDXG has enabled Malaysian firms to promote blockchain-based electric vehicle applications across Southeast Asia and deploy 5G-powered IoT solutions internationally.
