Trip.com has announced the launch of its upgraded membership tiers, bringing enhanced value and exclusive perks to loyal customers. With the introduction of a new top-tier membership, Diamond+, the revamped rewards system promises unparalleled travel experiences. This move is part of Trip.com’s ongoing commitment to making global travel more accessible and rewarding for its members.

Introducing the Diamond+ Membership Tier

The new Diamond+ tier represents the pinnacle of Trip.com’s Rewards program, offering members exclusive privileges. Diamond+ members can look forward to superior services such as premium customer support, free eSIM data packages, and complimentary attraction tickets to popular destinations like Disney and Universal Studios theme parks. Additionally, upgrades on airport transfers are available to ensure a seamless travel experience.

To qualify for Diamond+, members must spend a minimum of USD $10,000 within a year after reaching the Diamond tier. This exclusive tier guarantees that Trip.com’s most loyal customers receive the highest level of service and rewards.

Flexible Tier Upgrades and Perks

The revamped membership program also introduces a more flexible upgrade system. The different tiers—Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and now Diamond+—come with a range of enhanced benefits. Moving up the tiers is easier than ever, with clear requirements for each level. For instance, users can achieve Gold status by completing just one eligible booking, while reaching Diamond requires eight bookings with a minimum spend of USD $1,000 within a year.

Members who meet the upgrade requirements will have their new status automatically reflected in their accounts, with validity for one year. Those who maintain their status by the end of the period will have it extended for another year.

Expanded Rewards for All Members

Beyond the tier upgrades, Trip.com is rolling out a host of expanded rewards. All members can earn Trip Coins, redeemable across the platform, with Gold and higher-tier members earning additional coins. Hotel deals, insurance discounts, and VIP support are also available, with the most extensive benefits reserved for Diamond+ members.

This newly upgraded rewards program will officially launch in October 2024, coinciding with Trip.com Group’s 25th anniversary. It offers an exciting array of benefits, making travel more convenient, affordable, and enjoyable for users worldwide.
