According to Minister of Health Malaysia, Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, breast cancer is the leading cause of death among Malaysian women, with an alarming rise in late-stage diagnoses. Citing the National Cancer Registry Report 2017-2021, Dr. Dzulkefly noted that 50.5% of cases were detected at advanced stages (Stage 3 or 4).
