On 16th October 2024, Kärcher celebrated the 10th anniversary of Thank Your Cleaner Day (TYCD), a global initiative that honours professional cleaners.

The origins and growth of Thank Your Cleaner Day

Thank Your Cleaner Day was first launched in 2015 in New Zealand by the Building Services Contractors of New Zealand (BSCNZ) in collaboration with Kärcher.

Since then, this initiative has gained international recognition.

Through partnerships with local organisations, the day continues to grow, bringing attention to the often-unseen efforts of professional cleaners, who work outside of standard hours to ensure a clean and safe environment for everyone.

Kärcher Malaysia partnered with Edisijuta Services Sdn. Bhd. to host a commemorative event at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, paying tribute to these unsung heroes.

This milestone event also featured the prestigious Cleaning Awards 2024, recognising exceptional individuals for their commitment to maintaining high standards in cleaning services.
