AdminChristmas magic enveloped 1 Mont Kiara as the mall hosted its Grant-A-Wish 3.0 programme, lighting up the festive season for nearly 40 children from the Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association and Persatuan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Xin Yuan KL. Held in collaboration with the Leo Club of Sunway Metro, the initiative fostered a spirit of generosity among shoppers, tenants, and the broader community, transforming heartfelt holiday wishes into cherished memories.
During two consecutive weekends, from December 7–8 and 14–15, compassionate shoppers selected wish cards displayed at the mall, each representing the dream of a child. Gifts poured in, fulfilling wishes and ensuring the children experienced the true essence of the season. “The warmth and kindness shown by the community have been overwhelming,” shared Ooi Wai Sheng, Executive, Advertising & Promotions at 1 Mont Kiara.
Collaborative Support from Tenants
Adding to the festive spirit, Dalbodre Cafe, one of the mall’s beloved tenants, provided nutritious and delicious meals for the children. Raina, Manager of Dalbodre Cafe, shared her joy in seeing the
children enjoy their meals.
Meanwhile, the Asia Ballet Academy showcased their passion for giving back, contributing a remarkable 103 presents. These gifts came from the combined efforts of their management, teachers, and patrons, reflecting a shared commitment to community welfare. Shizreen Saleh, Manager of Asia Ballet Academy, shared their passion for giving back to the community and exposing children to the performing arts, noting the effort as a collective collaboration among teachers and parents.
