Kampung Pasir Putih

The Sea Gypsies from Stulang Laut were evicted from their homeland, and were told to move to Kuala Masai.  They refused to go there, knowing that they will not be able to survive if there were too many in the same place.

Instead they move to Sungai Redang, then to Sungai Buluh, they finally settled down in Kampung Pasir Putih.

Life was hard for them, they need to pay to get water and electricity into their houses.

Now, they are again being evicted.
