Edmund Lee Tat WengCJ Edmund Lee visited the Goddess of Mercy temple or known as ‘Quan Yin Theng’ among Penangites to feel the warmth and atmosphere in the temple during Chinese New Year.
Many devotees were seen busy offer their prayers to the deities in the temple. While some were capturing the scenic of temple and buying prayers materials.
This culture of offering prayers during Chinese New Year should be practiced amongst the younger generation as a way to continue the tradition and beliefs.
