Entering the last day of campaigning for the Batu Sapi by-election, all the three parties were working hard to garner votes. BN candidate Datin Linda Tsen spent the afternoon on a door to door campaign in Taman Sibuga. So was a group of PKR leaders including Elizabeth Wong, William Leong, Hee Loy Sian and Sivarasa Rasiah.
In the evening, SAPP held its last ceramah in Tai Tong Kindergarten Hall with a full capacity crowd of around 500 people. Pakatan Rakyat too had their ceramah in Yuk Yuan Hall which also attracted a full capacity crowd of over 2000 with many standing outside.
Among the speakers of the evening were Anwar Ibrahim, Elizabeth Wong, Nizar Jamaluddin, Ansari Abdullah and Lim Guan Eng. Nizar Jamalauddin, the former Menteri Besar of Perak ever entertained the audience with a Chinese song to appeal for votes for the Pakatan Rakyat.
Lim Guan Eng, the Chief Minister of Penang became a star as young members of the audience stopped him on the way out of the hall for photograph with him and asking for authograph.
