How did Pakatan Rakyat win the by-election in Sibu when all odds were stacked against them? What were the factors that swayed voters’ decision? What happened in Sibu?
A forum was organised by DAP in Penang on 25 May, 2010. Several politicians from DAP and PAS talked to a crowd of over 1,000 people. The three-hour long forum saw many politicians bashing the Barisan Nasional.
This 10 minute video features the Secretary-General of DAP who is also the Chief Minister of Penang. Lim Guan Eng thanking the voters of Sibu. He also thanked Penangites for their trust in Pakatan Rakyat. He said Penang has inspired Sibu voters to choose Pakatan Rakyat.
At the same time, Lim also delivered some hard hitting comments about Barisan Nasional leaders with the crowds cheering, clapping and laughing.
