Free artificial legs for 250 amputees

Nearly 250 amputees who gathered at the Che Hoon Khor Moral Uplifting Society hall in Penang, were examined by a team of experts from Thailand to see if they could be fitted with artificial legs for free on Sunday.

The foundation, Prostheses Foundation Under the Patronage of the Princess Mother of Thailand, consists of 110 members, including 10 doctors. technicians and administrative staff. They  will measure, cast and customize the fitting on each successful applicant with their own leg.
