ArikrishnanLembah Beringin township near to the Selangor and Perak border, marks another symbol of the 1998 economic recession. The planned mega new township now has become a secluded and scary housing estate leaving only a Golf course as it main attraction.
Some plantation workers who had bought the houses with their lifelong savings have no choice but to continue the rest of their lives at this spooky failed township.
Despite promises, the Housing and Local Government Ministry has been unable to take any action against the property developer to complete the township as planned.
