A man was found dead on the divider of Jalan Pandan Indah, near Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Ampang, yesterday morning.
Ampang Jaya deputy police chief Supt Mohamed Nazri Zawawi said, based on the BCG vaccination scar on his shoulder they believe he was a local in his 30s.
“The victim had injuries on the forehead, drag marks on the back of the body and a broken right leg,” he said.
“He was fully clothed but no identification documents were found,” said Mohamed Nazri when contacted.
Police received a call at 9.55 am from a member of the public and the body has been sent to University Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital for a post mortem, he added.
Saying investigations were ongoing, he refused to comment as to whether the man was a victim of a hit and run or a crime.
