Blood donation campaign to be held at National Mosque

The National Mosque will organise a blood donation campaign and a health education exhibition on Dec 30.

The National Mosque will organise a blood donation campaign and a health education exhibition on Dec 30.

The mosque said in a statement today said that the six-hour campaign, from 10am, was aimed at encouraging the public to donate blood, besides helping the National Blood Centre to enhance awareness among the society on the importance of donating blood.

A free medical check-up will also be given to the public. There will also be a voter registration counter by the Election Commission.

The campaign is also participated by government departments and agencies such as the Federal Territory Health Department, National Anti-Drugs Agency and Malaysian Aids Council.
