He added that USC offered a prestigious film programme and MMU was happy to work together on developing the Bachelor of Cinematic Arts programme which was different from the typical film and television production courses in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, USC School of Cinematic Arts Dean Elizabeth M. Daley welcomed the collaboration saying it would result in more graduates who were capable of making quality films in Malaysia.

Halim represented MMU while USC was represented by Daley in the ceremony.
