Following a two-month residency at Rimbun Dahan, German choreographer Riki von Falken premieres her new dance work Echo II, performed by eight Malaysian contemporary dancers.
Riki explores the connection between the energy of the Malay martial arts form silat and her own abstract form.
With a stage set that defamiliarises objects from Malaysian daily life, Echo II is a sophisticated minimalist work from the frontlines of German contemporary dance.
