Only three relief centres remained open in Pasir Mas and Tumpat as flood waters in Kelantan continued to subside.
A state flood operations spokesman said the number of victims has dropped to 221 people involving 50 families.
“The flood condition in Kelantan has almost returned to normal, except for two centres in the Pasir Mas district and one in Tumpat,” said the spokesman.
All roads that were closed to traffic in Kelantan are accessible today for all vehicles.
He said water level in Sungai Golok, Rantau Panjang has dropped to 9.74 metres albeit still at the dangerous level of nine metres.
