The Defence Ministry will organise the three-day 1Mindef Carnival 2011 beginning this Friday at Plaza Angsana, Johor Baharu to meet the local people and provide them with information about the various career paths in the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM).
The ministry in a statement today, said the carnival which would start from 10 am to 10 pm, would be officiated by Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Saturday at 3 pm.
Besides information and explanations about the ATM, various interesting programmes would be held including military demonstrations and performances, exhibitions, free health screening and registration to enter the armed forces.
The public is invited to attend the free-admission carnival.
