Muar hosts UCI Cycle Ball World Cup 2012

MUAR – The event drew the best of the world’s cycle-ball atheletes and was the 4th round of the 2012 UCI Cycle ball World Cup.

Bandar Di Raja, Muar played host to UCI Cycle Ball World Cup 2012, which was played at Dewan Jubli Intan, yesterday.

Cycle Ball, which closely resembles the artistic cycling, is a sport played on bicycles.

The 2 players on each team ride a fixed gear bicycle with no brakes or freewheel. The ball is controlled by the bike and the head except when defending the goal.

The event drew the best of the world’s cycle-ball atheletes and was the 4th round of the 2012 UCI Cycle ball World Cup.

Teams from Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand competed for the coveted cup.
