Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. will launch its innovative GALAXY Note in Malaysia in a matter of days, it said in a statement yesterday.
Samsung said the new “all-in-one” device combines the portability of a smartphone with the extensive viewing experience, multi-tasking and content creation capabilities of a tablet and other mobile devices.
“The Samsung GALAXY Note is the first mobile device to combine core on-the-go functionality with innovative free capture and creation capabilities in one elegant, portable device,” it said.
The phone features a large 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display while being only 9.65mm thick and weighing in only 178g.
The device features text-recognition software that re-digitises handwriting into regular text formats.
The GALAXY Note consumer roadshow will be held on Nov 11-13 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Queensbay Mall in Penang and AEON Tebrau in Johor Baharu.
