Hock Lin Buddhist temple throws anniversary bash

This temple has become a new tourist spot attracting people from all over the world.

Hock Lin Buddhist temple (Fulinggong) recently celebrated in style three grand occasions simultaneously: its 20th anniversary, the birthday of Tua-Pek-Kong and the completion of the new temple building.

The temple’s opening ceremony was launched by MCA president, Chua Soi Lek, who donated RM30,000 to the building fund of the temple’s multipurpose hall.

The temple authorities also proudly announced that the proceeds of a donation from 45 NGO will be given to several Chinese primary schools, orphanages and secondary schools. Each will receive RM1,000.

The temple is a proud new tourist attraction for people from all over the world.

The parade attracted about 500 participants and a thousand viewers.
