Next Bike Sdn Bhd, a company under the Naza Group, today launched the new Ducati Monster 795 in Malaysia.
Naza joint group executive chairman SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin said: “As we reveal this latest Ducati to Malaysia, we are also unveiling it to the whole of Asia.
“Ducati has honoured us with this opportunity, for which we are sincerely thankful,” he said at the launch yesterday.
Also at the ceremony were Ducati Motor Holdings vice president of sales Christiano Silei and nine-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi.
Meanwhile, Ducati Asia Pacific chief executive officer Mirko Bordiga said the latest model affirms Ducati’s focus on the Asian market.
“The new Monster 795 has been developed specifically for the Asian market,” he said at the launch.
