“I receive two reports of individuals using forged documents and my name, as well as the names of several Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers, to collect money purportedly to help them secure the purchase of PPR housing units in Kuala
Lumpur,” he added.

He said DBKL had never appointed anyone to act on its behalf in the purchase of the PPR houses.

“The PPR houses can only be sold to the existing occupants. If there is an offer from other quarters, that is just a bluff,” he told reporters.

Saravanan said he lodged a police report on the matter on Sunday.
