A man with a gunshot to the abdomen was found in Bukit Angkat Industrial Area, Sungai Chua, Kajang last night.
Kajang police chief ACP Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab said the 23-year-old man was found lying in a pool of blood opposite a business premise by passers-by.
“The police were alerted by passers-by, who rushed to the scene at the sound of an explosion and found the victim at about 9pm,” said Abdul Rashid when contacted.
The victim was said to have been approached by a motorcyclist shortly before the incident.
Abdul Rashim said the victim was admitted to the Kajang Hospital and his condition was reported to be critical.
“No weapon was found at the scene and the police are investigating the motive of the attack,” he added.
