PAS distributes 500 packets of ‘bubur lambuk’ in Simpang Empat

Simpang Empat – In just two minutes all 500 packets of “bubur lambuk” were all taken.

The distribution of the “bubur” was organised by the  Jawatankuasa Majlis Tindakan Dun Simpang Empat and sponsored by PAS.  An annual effort for the last 5 years, every Ramadan.

Adun Simpang Empat, Rus’sele Eizan said that the distribution was fast as the people were already informed and were waiting for the delivery of the porriage to their area.

The preparation of the porriage was a community effort as the committee worked together to cook and pack the treat before delivering the 500 packets to Pekan Simpang Empat.

Rus’sele also said that there is a distribution schedule and in time surrounding areas would also be receiving the treat. “We are distibuting the bubur to all Muslims as a treat for breaking fast and it does not  matter if they support the party or not” he said.
