Special Prayer for fallen heros

A special “Athma Shanti” prayer was held at the Sithi Vinayagar Temple in Taman Molek to remember the fallen national security personnel in fighting against Sulu intruders in Lahad Datu.

Organizers of the prayer  PKR Johor State Deputy Chairman K. Selva Kumar said that the prayers was meant for the perished souls of our police and army personnel who gave their life protecting the people and nation against incursion of the Sulu rebels.

“We hope that with this prayer, the conflict in Lahad Datu and Sabah will come to an end fast and for also for the security of our entire serviceman who are currently fighting in Sabah,” said Selva.

During the prayer, Selva also read out the names of the eight policemen who died while protecting the nation’s sovereignty.

Temple Chairman, Gopal Raman, 60, said that all Malaysians should pray for the safety of our security personnel and for the Sabahans.

Around hundred Hindus and temple patrons around Johor Jaya and Taman Molek took part in the special prayer.
