The Commission of Inquiry has established that political aide Teoh Beng Hock committed suicide.
This decision was contained in its 124-page report released today.
Teoh, 30, political secretary to Selangor state executive council member Ean Yong Hian Wah, was found dead on July 16, 2009, on the fifth floor corridor of
Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam, Selangor, after giving a statement at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office on the 14th floor of the same building.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak announced the setting up of the commission of inquiry on Jan 26 after the Coroner’s Court had delivered an open verdict in the case.
