GSC, which signed an agreement today to operate the cinema at the City One Mall in Kuching, also plans to open another five more in 2012.
The proposed 10-screen multiplex will have an estimated seating capacity of 1,800.
GSC has a total of 191 cinemas in 23 locations nationwide, including Kota Kinabalu.
