An Indonesian man in his 30s was found slashed to death near a Christian cemetery in Jalan Kuari, Cheras, last night.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Ku Chin Wah said the man and two others were believed to have a misunderstanding with four others while traveling on a bus.
“The victim and two friends had boarded a bus from their workplace in Taman Len Seng, Cheras to return to their home about 7pm.
“But they were forced them to alight near a cemetery. The four men then chased and atacked them,” he told reporters at the crime scene.
One was slashed to death, one seriously injured and being treated at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (HUKM) while another escaped.
Ku said the three Indonesian construction workers from Surabaya were believed attacked with parangs.
“The assailants could not be identified but are believed to be not locals,” he added.
