JB City celebrates 20th Anniversary

JOHOR BAHRU – In conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of the Declaration of Johor Bahru City, various activities were lined up to entertain Johor Bharu folks at Taman Merdeka recently. [VIDEO]

In conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of the Declaration of Johor Bahru City, various activities were lined up to entertain Johor Bharu folks at Taman Merdeka recently.

Amongst them were a boxing demonstration organized by the Johor Sports Council which was a hit amongs youngsters. Other interesting activities were a 90-minutes aerobic competition an also an exhibition of posters held by the National Sports Institute of Malaysia.

Nurses from the Malaysian Health Ministry were at hand to conduct a comprehensive health survey including mental health. The Paragon Fitness team was there with a machine to test individual’s fitness.

The school children were also part of the fun as a competition to draw and paint a mini mural was organized specially for them with the theme,”Johor Bahru, Di Hati-Ku”‘ (Johor Bahru – in My Heart)
