The event which starts at 5pm at the MPSJ Stadium is organised by residents committee (JKP) of Zone 3, this year’s edition will see a wider range of activities, including hot air balloons, fun fair, kids zone, and health screening.
The popular “chicken-catching” contest, which saw Subang juniors enthusiastically chase after chickens released on field during last year’s event, will not be held this year.
“The theme for this year is Family, Community and Environment. One shall not miss the hot air balloon rides, which is the highlight of this year,” MPSJ councillor for JKP Zone 3 Rajiv Rishyakaran said.
He said the purpose of the event is to foster closer ties among the residents under JKP Zone 3, which covers USJ2 to USJ15 and houses some 100,000 residents.
Admission for the event is free.
