KUALA LUMPUR – A section of Jalan Sultan Ismail in the direction towards Jalan Kuching will be closed temporarily in stages from this Sunday. Furthermore, one lane will be closed in the morning when construction work will be carried out for 18 months.
Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s corporate communications manager Anwar Mohd Zain said in a statement here yesterday that the road closure is to enable the construction of support pillars and steel structures for the covered pedestrain bridge project at the Sultan Ismail LRT Station and the Medan Tuanku Monorail Station.
He advised road users to observe all road signages as a precaution and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused due to the work.
