Goal for glory at the Curve and eCurve

PETALING JAYA – To get everyone into the spirit of the World Cup, the Curve and eCurve malls at Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya are inviting shoppers to their 2014 World Cup “Goal for Glory” celebration with attractive activities, stage performances and shopping promotions from June 13 to 22, 2014.

The most anticipated quadrennial global football event, the 2014 World Cup, kicks off in a week’s time.

To get everyone into the spirit of the World Cup, the Curve and eCurve malls at Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya are inviting shoppers to their 2014 World Cup “Goal for Glory” celebration with attractive activities, stage performances and shopping promotions from June 13 to 22, 2014.

The Curve’s centre court is transformed into an arena for a fun-filled football experience for shoppers with the setting of a mini soccer pitch ambiance.

Popular TV host of “Football Overload” and radio announcer of Hitz.fm Michelle Lee will emcee the Gold for Glory events and activities.

“Our football activities this year are sure to bring more unforgettable moments to patrons,” said the Curve centre manager Jazmi Kamarudin.

There will be a football challenge on weekends for football fanatics to show of their best skills in all three categories of dribbling, juggling and scoring a goal and the chance to win attractive prizes. Winners can walk away with prizes worth RM4,000 of Adidas and official World Cup merchandises.

On top of that, there will Samba dance and Capoeira performances, Freestyle Football and face painting of your favourite team’s flags.

Over at eCurve, it is organising a PlayStation 4 Soccer Challenge for skilful video gamers. Qualifying rounds will be open on June 14, 15 and 21 with the final showdown on June 22.

Azizul Hisham Ahmad, centre manager for eCurve said patrons will have more fun than ever with a bigger football celebration this World Cup season.

“This time around we are rewarding our shoppers for their love of the world’s most popular sport through our PS4 gaming platform,” he said.

The champion, first, second and third runners-up of PS4 Soccer Challenge will receive cash prizes of RM1,000, RM500, RM300 and RM100 respectively.

Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM250 at the Curve and eCurve can redeem an exclusive 2014 World Cup trophy drinking glass, subject to terms and conditions.

There will be on sale official World Cup merchandise at the Curve’s centre court and Adidas range of football products at eCurve’s centre atrium.
