Pos Malaysia Bhd wants a clarification about the myemail project before making any decision about the project which has been awarded to Tricubes Bhd for implementation.
Pos Malaysia still needs to go to the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) and the Malaysia Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) to understand what the project is all about, said Pos Malaysia Group managing director and chief executive officer Syed Faisal Albar.
“I know there are a lot of literature written in the media including from PEMANDU, but we still need to hear what is the drive for this project.
“If the project is totally a private initiative but PEMANDU and MAMPU are there to help out in evaluating the project, that means it is a priority area for the government.
“If it is a priority area for the government, whatever they do, we would like to engage with them and make sure it is given priority as well for us,” he told a press conference after the signing of a collaboration between Pos Malaysia and Western Union.
