Kadazan Dusun and Murut College gets thumbs up

Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) has expressed support for the proposal to set up a Kadazan Dusun and Murut College in Sabah.

Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) has expressed support for the proposal to set up a Kadazan Dusun and Murut College in Sabah.

Its president, Joseph Kurup, said the KDM College would help in the advancement of the community along with the other communities under the 1Malaysia concept and strengthen unity.

“This is a good idea. We in PBRS support the call to set up the college as it will raise the status of the Kadazan Dusun and Murut community,” he told reporters.

Kurup, who is federal deputy natural resources and environment minister, was asked to comment on the proposal by the Sabah Kadazan Dusun and Murut Welfare and Education Association (Pekadin) on Sunday for the setting up of the KDM College in Sabah.
