The fifth generation of Samsung’s Galaxy Note series was unveiled with great fanfare at a star-studded media event in Sunway Pyramid recently. Samsung Malaysia Electronics held three roadshows concurrently in Sunway Pyramid KL, Gurney Plaza in Penang and Sutera Mall in JB between 4th to 9th September to offer fans first look on the new Samsung Galaxy Note5.

Hours before the Samsung sales team was ready for business, there was already a long line of fans queuing from 4am for giveaways and also to be the first to own the device. Samsung initially offered its first 100 customers in Sunway Pyramid a 50% discount on the second unit of the Galaxy Note5 purchase. However, due to overwhelming response, the brand extended the special deal to another 100 customers. Trade-up promotion and free accessories worth RM538 were also given away with every purchase.

“In lieu of the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note5 at Sunway Pyramid in KL yesterday and as part of our celebration of the Note Legacy, Samsung Malaysia Electronics has extended various exclusive limited time deals for fans and loyal users through its roadshows in Sunway Pyramid in KL, Gurney Plaza in Penang and Sutera Mall in JB,”. said Lee Jui Siang, Vice President, Mobile, IT and Digital Imaging, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

Melody Lee, the first Malaysian customer and proud owner of two Samsung Galaxy Note5 had been eagerly waiting in line since wee hours of the morning. She says, “I have been following and reading up on the Note5 and I told myself, I have to get it! With the latest features and technology in this new power-packed device, it was definitely worth the wait!”
