Former beauty queen and Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation (MUMO) Elaine Daly officially launched a new skincare range called Muca at Hotel Majestic in Kuala Lumpur on 9th December 2018.
Muca is derived from the Malay word ‘muka’ which means face.
Malaysia Airlines specially flew in Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters to Kuala Lumpur to support the launch before heading back to Bangkok, Thailand for the 67th Miss Universe world finals on 17th Dec where she will crown her successor, the new Miss Universe 2018.
23-year-old Demi-Leigh from South Africa was crowned Miss Universe 2017 in Las Vegas late last year. She is a business management degree holder and has been living in New York during her reign. She is a passionate advocate of a program she developed that trains women how to handle life-threatening situations, including sexual harassment, assault and abusive relationships.
Daly, who is the brand director for Muca, said Muca is collaborating with the 2018 Miss Universe as the official skincare sponsor.
“We are collaborating with the 2018 Miss Universe as the official skincare sponsor for greater public visibility of Muca at the pageant finals which will be televised in over 160 countries worldwide,” she said.
“Muca is dermatologically tested to cater for all skin types and our weather. We make the range affordable and bring out that natural glow in your skin,” she added.
Muca is conceptualised in Malaysia and made in South Korea. It is a cruelty-free product and uses recyclable packaging.
Muca is sold online at https://muca.com.my/ at affordable price range of RM62 to RM129.
