The Haier Cup 2023 will span from 24th June to 30th July 2023, taking place in three states: Johor, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur. Open to Malaysians aged 18 years and above, the tournament features four categories: men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, and women’s doubles.

With affordable registration fees of RM30 per person for the singles category and RM50 per pair for doubles, the event aims to encourage widespread participation.

The state tournaments will adopt a 30-point scoring system, played in a single-game format. As the competition intensifies, the semi-finals and finals will feature a 21-point gameplay, best of three games. Exciting prizes await the winners of each state tournament and the grand finals.

Additionally, six grand champions will be rewarded with a remarkable all-expense paid trip to Thailand. They will participate in a two-day badminton camp, coached by Thailand’s esteemed mixed doubles player, Ms. Popor Sapsiree Taerattanachai.
