Canon partners with Outdoor Festival 2023 at Lenggong

Canon Marketing Malaysia (Canon) has announced its collaboration with the Outdoor Festival 2023 (ODF23) as the Official Imaging Partner and printing sponsor.

This exciting three-day event, held from 16th to 18th June at Resort Tasik Raban in Lenggong, showcases a range of outdoor activities and aims to inspire individuals to reconnect with nature and protect the environment.

Canon’s participation reflects its commitment to promoting sustainability and fostering creativity through imaging technology.

Outdoor Festival 2023 – Unplug & Reconnect

The grand opening of ODF23 was honoured by the presence of Mohd Amzari bin Mohd Arzami, the Yang Dipertua Majlis Daerah Lenggong.

The festival attracted participants from all over Malaysia, local residents and communities. ODF23 offers diverse activities, including camping, kayaking, archery, workshops, sharing sessions, and music performances.

This year’s theme, “Unplug & Reconnect,” encourages attendees to rediscover their connection with nature and actively contribute to environmental conservation.

Canon as Official Imaging Partner

Canon, as the Official Imaging Partner for ODF23, shares the festival’s vision for environmental stewardship. In an exclusive experiential showcase, Canon invited a select group of participants to test the latest EOS R-series and PowerShot V10 cameras.

This initiative aims to inspire young Malaysians and cultivate their passion for photography and videography. Canon also highlights its seamless ecosystem, where cameras and printers work together harmoniously.

The festival grounds are adorned with banners showcasing Canon’s Colorado 1650 large-format printer, which utilizes eco-solvent inks suitable for outdoor environments.

Guided by its principle of “Imaging for Good,” Canon is committed to creating a better and sustainable society. Canon promotes long-term progress and positive change by aligning its actions with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
