“We are thrilled to introduce ClubRock Perlis, Malaysia’s first rock climbing base camp and eco-adventure hub in Perlis,” said Dato’ Nellsen Young, Executive Chairman and Group CEO of MyUS Group of Companies. “Perlis’ natural beauty is truly exceptional and a treasure trove for outdoor enthusiasts, and ClubRock Perlis aims to put the state on the map of world rock climbing. ClubRock Perlis aims to create numerous opportunities for the local community and industry. By hiring local adventure guides and rock climbers as full-time staff, ClubRock Perlis will provide employment opportunities and promote community growth. The base camp will also serve as a hub for training and enhancement courses, creating opportunities for local students.

“This project will generate job opportunities for the local community in various sectors such as hospitality, culinary services, and adventure guiding. ClubRock Perlis is also committed to supporting local industries by sourcing supplies from local food sellers and promoting Perlis’ unique flavors and delicacies at their on-site café,” explained Dato’ Nellsen.

Prioritizing sustainability and environmental conservation

Prioritizing sustainable practices, ClubRock Perlis will integrate eco-friendly technologies into its operations to conserve resources, recycle water, and reduce waste. Rainwater harvesting systems and compost machines are being implemented to achieve these goals. In addition to these efforts, the resort will offer informative and engaging daily tours led by knowledgeable guides, providing unique insights into Gua Kelam’s natural wonders and promoting environmental awareness.

Aimed at preserving and understanding the area’s natural wonders, ClubRock Perlis welcomes partnerships with universities and researchers interested in studying Perlis’ unique flora and fauna, emphasizing collaboration and knowledge exchange.

“ClubRock Perlis is set to revolutionize tourism in Perlis, offering an unmatched experience for rock climbing enthusiasts and nature lovers alike,” concluded Dato’ Nellsen.
