The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed today marks the commencement of this initiative, inviting students aged 7 to 17 to channel their creativity into crafting eco-friendly solutions.

The awards, running from today until March 3, 2024, challenge participants to build prototypes addressing waste-related issues using recyclable materials accepted by IPC’s Recycling and Buy-Back Centre (RBBC).

This initiative builds on IPC Shopping Centre’s two-decade commitment to sustainability, providing a platform for the younger generation to showcase green ideas and creativity.

The IPC Little Eco-Heroes Awards offer a unique platform for students to showcase their environmental creativity. With submissions accepted until March 3, 2024, participants are encouraged to form groups and submit video presentations introducing their innovative prototypes.

The top 20 finalist teams will have the opportunity to develop and display their creations at IPC Shopping Centre, with the public participating in the judging process via Facebook. The Grand Final, scheduled for March 3, 2024, will witness live presentations and Q&A sessions with a panel of judges.
