Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet), the backbone of Malaysia’s digital payment infrastructure, recently hosted an award ceremony at VE Hotel, Bangsar South, marking the successful conclusion of the “BeRAYA dengan MyDebit Campaign 2023”.
This initiative, held from April 7 to June 30, 2023, aimed to boost cashless payment adoption in the grocery store segment and promote the widespread use of MyDebit among Malaysian consumers.
A collaborative effort for a cashless society
The “BeRAYA dengan MyDebit Campaign 2023” achieved a remarkable milestone by uniting six key grocery merchants under MyDebit.
Among the merchants are Giant Malaysia, MYDIN, Econsave, The Store Group, Billion Group, and Tunas Manja Group (TMG).
This unprecedented collaboration marked a significant step towards fostering a cashless society in Malaysia.
The campaign encouraged customers to embrace cashless payments by offering attractive rewards, including the chance to win Perodua Bezza cars and 1-year grocery supplies worth over RM400,000.
